Adequate platforms shall be provided around tippler for

- The arrangement of the equipment shall offer convenient access

inspection and maintenance of all parts. Access ladders,
working
platforms, safety hand railings of min 1000 mm height shall be
provided
wherever required. All edges and openings shall be
provided

toe-guards. Safety devices such as limit switches and
mechanical

ops
shall be incorporated so as to ensure rotation of
tippler with in
limi
t

.
- Centralised grease lubrication system shall be provided for the
t
ippler
.
However, all parts of the equipment needing manual lubrication shall
be
easily accessible. All oil pipes and grease nipples shall be well
covered
to prevent damage from materials from falling on
t
hem
.
- The tippler shall be interlocked electrically with side arm charger
and
succeeding equipment (feeders, conveyers etc.) with respect
t
o
operational and safety
