8. Powering On/Off

Press and hold the function button for 2 or 3 seconds

The unit will power on after the indicator light ﬂashes blue 3 times.

To turn the power off, press and hold the function button for 2~3

seconds until you see the red indicator light ﬂash 3 times.

Note: While turning the unit on, you will hear the two low pitched tones

sound from the receiver. The blue indicator light will ﬂash 5 times, then

2 times, and after repeating this for 5 times, the indicator light will ﬂash

blue every 3 seconds to come into a standby mode.

While the unit is turned on, it will automatically search for its paired

device.

When turned on and within the effective range of 10 meters from the

Wireless Handsfree Car Kit, the indicator light will ﬂash blue to indicate

that it has entered Connecting mode.

When turning the unit off, you will hear one high pitched beep sound

followed by two low pitched tone sounds. The indicator light will ﬂash

red a few times, then shut off.

9. Pairing with your Bluetooth Technology Enabled Device

You must pair the unit with your Bluetooth technology enabled phone or other

device before you use the unit for the ﬁrst time.

Ensure the unit is turned off.

Press and hold the function button for 5 seconds until the blue indicator

light ﬂashes with the red indicator light to enter the pairing mode.

Ensure your mobile phone has the correct Bluetooth technology function

and start the Bluetooth technology new device searching function.

Please follow the instructions of your mobile phone to proceed with this

operation.

When your mobile phone is at the stage of searching for a new

Bluetooth technology enabled device, it should ﬁnd EL-2567.
