This fieldbus coupler allows the connection of the WAGO I/O SYSTEM as a sla-
ve device on a PROFINET IO industrial ethernet network.
The fieldbus coupler supports all WAGO I/O SYSTEM modules.
The coupler automatically configures itself, creating a local process image which
may include analog, digital, or specialty module data. Analog and specialty
module data is sent via words and/or bytes.
Digital data is packed into words or bytes.
The fieldbus coupler is integrated into the application as a PROFINET IO device.
The coupler also supports many common ethernet protocols for system ma-
nagement and diagnostics (HTTP, BootP, DHCP, DNS, SNTP, FTP, and SNMP).
