8.5 Application Notes for Web Visualizations
The functionality of a Web visualization depends on the version of the CODESYS
Java applet “webvisu.jar” used in CODESYS 2 or the e!RUNTIME version. This
file is usually the same version as the installed version of CODESYS. The
general function of the file is the responsibility of 3S. The version and function
must be explicitly checked. Always use the latest CODESYS version of the
WAGO-I/O-PRO-CD approved by WAGO Kontakttechnik GmbH & Co. KG.
Please also observe section “CODESYS Web Visualization” in the CODESYS
online help.
The “webvisu.htm” file is the base HTML page for the Web visualization and is
copied during installation of WAGO-I/O-PRO or WAGO AUTOMATION COCKPIT
to the directory <3S Software Installation Directory>\Visu. Settings to optimize
and adjust the Web visualization are made in this file. Please note the section
“Editing the ‘webvisu.htm’ File” in the CODESYS online help.
If you want to call up the Web-Based Management of a WAGO controller from
the Web panel to change the configuration of the controller, do so via the HTTP
service to fully display the WBM. Note that HTTP service communication must
be enabled in the controller.
8.5.1 Response Time
The panel was designed for presentation of simple to medium-sized Web
visualizations. For this purpose, the panel builds up the connection to a controller
(e.g., from the 750-088x or 750-8xxx series) and displays the visualization pages
