CONICAL WAND GENERAL USER INFORMATION Information about using the operation manual ► Before using the appliance for the first time, you must read and understand the operation manual completely. ► Consider the operation manual as part of the product and store it in a safe and accessible place. ► Include this operation manual if passing the appliance on to a third party. ► In the case of conflicts with national safety specifications or instructions, the national requirements must be followed.

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS When using this electrical appliance, especially when children are present, basic safety precautions should always be observed including the following. Requirements ► Read the instruction manual in full to familiarise yourself with the product before the first use.

Electric shock due to damage to appliance ► Do not operate the appliance with a broken cord or plug, or if the appliance malfunctions, or is dropped or damaged in anyway. ► If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or a suitably qualified professional in order to avoid a hazard. ► Do not let the cord hang over the edge of the work surface or let it touch any hot surfaces.

Injuries due to incorrect handling ► Switch off the appliance and unplug from outlet when not in use, before putting on or taking off attachments and also before cleaning the appliance. ► Never use the appliance on artificial hair ► Care should be taken to avoid contact with the skin, the face and neck. Caution! Danger of product damage ► Never use your appliance without paying attention! ► Always unplug the unit when not in use or left unattended.
CONICAL WAND OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS Before plugging in check that the voltage matches that shown on the rating label. BEFORE USING Make sure that all the packaging materials have been properly removed before use. NOTE: Never use this appliance to dry your hair, but only to style it. OPERATION 1. Connect the appliance to a wall socket and place it on a dry surface that is resistant to heat. The appliance will beep to indicate power to the unit. Fig 1 180 °C 2.
CONICAL WAND • 3. The appliance will then show the display increasing until it reaches temperature. • Once reached the temperature will remain static on the display. To adjust the temperature between 80°C - 210°C. • Press the ▲button to increase the temperature • Press the ▼button to decrease the temperature. • The temperature can be adjusted by 5°C at a time by pressing on either of these buttons.
CONICAL WAND CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE • Always disconnect the appliance from the wall socket and allow it to cool down completely before any cleaning operation. • Do not use abrasive cleaning agents or scrub pads. • Do not use alcohol or solvents. • Wipe the main body and the ceramic plates with a slightly damp and soft cloth. Dry with a soft and dry cloth. • Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid. TROUBLESHOOTING Problem The appliance does not switch on.
CONICAL WAND WIRING WARNING: If the supply cord is damaged it must be replaced by the manufacturers service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard. The wires in the mains lead of this Conical Wand are coloured in accordance to the following code: Blue Neutral (N) Brown Live (L) This appliance is fitted with a 3 pin BS Approved BS1363 plug which has a 13amp fuse fitted.
