INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Installation Instructions
1. Install winch fairlead to front of mounting plate (See Figure 1 ). Orient roller fairlead with roller bolt
heads facing down for flush mounting. Use hardware included with fairlead or 2 each of the following:
3/8-16x ¾ inch cap screw (Grade 5 or better), 3/8-16 hex nut, and 3/8 lock washer. Torque bolts to
30-35 ft-lbs (41-47 Nm).
2. For applications without pre-drilled holes, drill the appropriate hole patern to mount the fairlead:
P/N 64952 (3”) - 2 holes, 7/16” inch (11.1 mm) diameter on a 4 inch (12.42 cm) center.
P/N 71294 (4 ½ “) - 2 holes, 7/16” inch (11.1 mm) diameter on a 6 inch (15.24 cm) center.
3. For the 4700 winch, unbolt the lower roller on the fairlead. Pull the bolt out and let the roller drop.
Thread wire rope loop through opening. Re-install bolt. Torque bolt to 30-35 ft-lbs (41-47 Nm).
