QUICK START
 INSTALL 9100TS ACCORDING TO MANUAL AND LOCAL PLUMB-
ING CODES
 SLOWLY TURN ON INCOMING SIDE OF BYPASS
 WAIT FOR WATER TO FILL TANK AND AIR TO STOP
 PUSH AND HOLD “REGENERATE” TO START CYCLE
 IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE VALVE STARTS –PUSH AND HOLD
THE “SET” AND “UP” BUTTONS
 THE “HOUR GLASS” ICON WILL START FLASHING
 THE VALVE WILL NOW CYCLE THROUGH TO THE END WITH-
OUT STOPPING
 REPEAT TWICE ON EACH TANK
 ADJUST HARDNESS SETTING
 OPEN OUTGOING SIDE OF BYPASS VALVE
 CHECK FOR LEAKS
 ADD SALT TO THE BRINE TANK

1. SET. Used to accept a setting that nor-
mally becomes stored in memory. Also
used together with the arrow buttons.
2. DOWN arrow. Generally used to scroll down
or decrement through a group of choices.
3. UP arrow. Generally used to scroll up or in-
crement through
a group of choices.
4. REGENERATE OR EXTRA CYCLE. Used to
command the controller to regenerate.
