BEFORE YOU BEGIN YOUR INSTALLATION:
IMPORTANT NOTE: Over time, the auto shut off valve could
get clogged by dirty water. Test periodically by touching the
metal plate to water. If the safety valve does not shut off,
remove the unit and clear debris.
The diagram on left outlines a typical water treatment system installation with a
Waterstone Multi-Stage Filtration Unit and a Waterstone Filtration Faucet. Other
ltration systems and ltration faucets will vary. Consult local plumbing codes and
building regulations before installation. Improperly installed systems could result in
water damage due to leaks or ooding. The installer is responsible for ensuring that
the installation is in compliance with all applicable state and local regulations.
TO ACTIVATE:
Insert 9V battery into unit and close lid. Place unit on bottom of cabinet oor where
leaking water will pool. Press and hold reset button for four seconds. Safety valve will
open and give a long beep sound. Unit is ready to go.
AUTO SHUT OFF:
When moisture is detected, safety valve will activate and shut
o water. Unit will continually beep and blue light will blink to
alert you of a leakage. After leakage problem is xed, press and
hold reset button for four seconds. Safety valve will reset and
give a long beep sound. Unit is again ready to go.
LOW POWER SHUT OFF:
When unit’s battery runs low, the control valve will shut o
water supply to ltration system. Unit will beep and blinking
red light will indicate a battery replacement is needed.
When connecting directly to water
source, remove adaptors. Connect
supply hose from water source to
top of safety valve. Connect hose
from faucet to side of safety valve.
DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN!
When connecting to a ltration system,
attach adaptors. Insert supply tube from
water source to top of safety valve. Once
inserted, pull back on tube to ensure a
secure t. Connect tube from ltration
unit to side of safety valve. Turn water
back on and check for leaks.
