Watts Premier’s Whole House Filtration with pressure relieve valve
Watts Premier’s Whole House Filtration system should be installed on the main cold wa-
ter line servicing the house and installed in location that is protected of the environment.
Watts Premier does not take any responsibility for the plumbing of the system into the
water line. Install accordingly to your local plumbing codes.
Watts Premier’s Whole House Filtration system comes with one inch quick connect t-
tings. If your water line is smaller than one inch you will need to use proper reducers for
the installation (not included).
Note: Only Teon tape should be used on threaded ttings, do not use pipe dope as it may
cause damage to the plastic threads.
Installation Tools & Materials Recommended:
For Typical Installation:
- Pipe Cutter or Hack Saw
- 1/2” Open-end Wrench & Adjustable Pipe Wrench
- Variable Speed Drill
- Teon Tape (Supplied)
Operational Parameters:
1. Do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without
adequate disinfection before or after the system.
2. Operating Temperatures:
Maximum 100F (37.8C)
Minimum 40F (04.4C)
3. Operating Pressures:
Maximum 85 PSIG (5.95 kg/cm2)
Minimum 5 PSIG (0.35 kg/cm2)
4. Maximum Flow Rate:
22 GPM @ 60 psig
