Leak Sensor
Used in conjunction with the
A2C-SC or A2C-SC-WB, the leak
sensor helps maximize protection
against leaks. Should water be
detected at the leak sensor at any
time, the water flow to the wash-
ing machine hoses will be cut off
immediately. This protects against catastrophic water damage
regardless of the washing machine's operating cycle.
Optional Accessories
A2-IntelliTimer: A remote timer which allows the IntelliFlow to
be used with 240 VAC powered appliances.
Construction
The IntelliFlow A2C-SC is equipped with ½" sweat inlet adapters
for both hot water and cold water supply tubing. It is supplied
with two mounting tabs used to secure the valve to the wall for
surface mount applications. The valve is enclosed in an engi-
neered polymer enclosure.
Easy Installation
The IntelliFlow comes equipped with ½" sweat adapt ers to
re ceive tubing. Ei ther con nec tion may be used for the hot or
cold wa ter sup ply because the IntelliFlow is equipped with dura-
ble Buna-N diaphragms for longevity.
Water supply con nec tions are 2³/
8 " on cen ters.
No electrical wiring is required. Sim ply plug the wash ing machine
pow er cord into the IntelliFlow and plug it to the stan dard 15A,
GFI†, 120 volt outlet.
Typical Installations
The Watts IntelliFlow can be installed in new construction or
as an upgrade to existing installations. Reference IS-A2C-SC-

Use of the Watts IntelliFlow® Washing Machine Smart Water
Shutoff outlet for appliances other than a washing machine is not
recommended and voids the warranty.
NOTICE
This valve cannot be used for 240 VAC, 3 phase appliances. The
IntelliFlow with the IntelliTimer accessory supports this application.

20-ampere branch circuit shall be provided to supply the laundry
receptacle outlet(s) required by Section 210.52(F). This circuit
shall have no other outlets.
