Click the Enabled option to enable communication with SPEEDSignal.
Click Disabled to disable communication with SPEEDSignal. Click Apply
when finished.
Opening SPEEDSignal on the Desktop PC
To open SPEEDSignal on the desktop PC, follow these steps:
1 To open SPEEDSignal on the desktop PC, double-click the SPEEDSignal
shortcut icon. Or, you can open SPEEDSignal from the Start menu by choosing
Programs+Wave Wireless+SPEEDSignal. If SPEEDSignal was installed in
another folder, select the appropriate directory.

2 When you open SPEEDSignal on the desktop PC, the SPEEDSignal Login
dialog box appears, as shown in the example below.

Enter the Node IP address (or hostname if you are using a Domain Server) of
the node you want to connect to in the Node IP Address text box.
The passwords are defined, based on user class level, in the SPEEDLAN 9000
Configurator. You need to enter the "Full Access" password as configured in
the SPEEDLAN Configurator. For more information, see Classes of Users (and
Passwords), page 3-10. Note: Also, if you want SPEEDSignal to recall the
password for future logins, click Remember Password. Click Login.
