Mini Grand Main Controls
Model This knob selects between seven different
piano models that range from dark and mellow
(Atmo) to bright and aggressive (Dance).
Dynamic Response This control adjusts the re-
sponse of the piano sound to incoming MIDI ve-
locity data. Higher settings give more dynamic
sensitivity, and lower settings create a more
even dynamic response.
If you’re using a MIDI keyboard that tends to
output high velocities without much effort,
turning this control down can help compensate
creating a more natural feel.
Tuning Scale This control toggles between Equal
tuning, where the piano’s relative pitch is nor-
mal, and Stretched, where the piano’s higher
notes are tuned slightly higher, so they are more
in tune with the overtones of the lower note.
Room This control switches between various
room ambiences. Effects range from natural re-
verbs to special effects.
Mix The Mix knob blends the desired amount of
room ambience, selected using the Room knob,
into the piano tone.
Level Turn this knob to control the overall out-
put volume of Mini Grand.
