MOVING THE MARKER
A vertical marker appears over the currently selected ingress fre-
quency. The frequency and level of the ingress for the selected
frequency can be seen directly beneath the graph. You can use the
left or right arrows to select the previous or next frequency.

The reference level setting is displayed above the graph. This is the
level at the very top line. You can adjust the reference level using the
up and down arrows. When you press the SHIFT + keys, your CLI-
1450 automatically sets the optimum reference level for you.

The scale setting is displayed above the graph. You can adjust the
scale to provide the best view of the ingress level by pressing the
soft key. A new set of soft keys appear. Use the and soft keys
to increment and decrement the scale value. Press the soft key
when you have finished.

To zoom in on or out from the ingress frequency selected by the
marker, press the soft key. A new set of soft keys appear. Use the
soft key to zoom in and the soft key to zoom out. The
magnification factor is displayed above the graph. Press the soft
key when you have finished.

You can catch transient ingress at any time by pressing the soft
key. Notice the icon in the upper-right portion of the screen is
displayed when the peak measurement hold feature is on. The peak
ingress scan is represented on the display as a dimmed scan. When the
peak hold function is active the marker identifies the peak ingress
frequency and level. Press the soft key again to release the peak
hold function.
