Attaching the Sensor to the Mounting BracketFigure 1.3 –
Aligning the Sensor to the Roadway
Follow the steps below to correctly align the SmartSensor (see Figure 1.4):
Aiming the SmartSensorFigure 1.4 –
Aim the front of the sensor at the center of the detection area. You may also 1
refer to Figure 1.1 as an illustration of where to aim the sensor.
Adjust the side-to-side angle to within approximately ±2° of perpendicular 2
to the ow of trac.
Tighten mounting bracket bolts.3
