1. What is the best way to remove normal
dirt and debris from my vinyl fencing or
railing?
Not only is vinyl durable, it's low maintenance. The
water from seasonal rain showers is typically
sufficient to keep vinyl fencing and railing clean. If a
more thorough cleaning in necessary, fill a bucket
with hot water and dish soap and wipe the vinyl
down with a rag. It is best to start at the bottom and
work your way up to reduce streaking.
Tip: For the best results, it is best to choose an
overcast and cool day (55°-75°).
2. Can I use a power washer on my vinyl
fencing and railing?
Yes, using a power washer is often the quickest way
to clean vinyl.
Important information when using a
cleaning solution:
If cleaning your vinyl with either of the solutions above:
1. Be sure to thoroughly rinse the entire surface with
fresh water from a garden hose immediately after
washing, before the solution dries.
2. Be sure to accurately mix the solution using the
measurements noted. Greater concentrations of
chemicals may cause damage to the finish of the
vinyl fencing and railing.

3. Is there a cleaning solution I can use on hard-
to-remove dirt or mildew?
For hard-to-remove dirt, such as soot and grime found in
industrials areas, wipe the fencing or railing down with a
solution consisting of:
a. 1/3 cup powdered detergent (such as Tide, All or Gain)
b. 2/3 cup of household cleaner (such as Simple Green or
Lysol)
c. 1 gallon of water
