The options are:
Battery warning, this warns of when the transmitter
battery voltage is too low and is set in Volts
Range warning, which warns of when the percentage of
good frames drops to below the set level
Temperature warning, which alerts you when the trans-
mitter module circuit board gets too hot and is set in
degrees Celsius
In addition, within the modulation field the signal quality recei-
ved by the receiver can be seen and the earphone volume can be
adjusted.
If the values selected fall outside of the recommended settings, the
field will be highlighted in pink.
The country setting is used to select either the entire 2.4 GHz fre-
quency band (81 channels) for use world wide, or to select limited
band width for use within France. If using a 2.4 Dual FHSS Mi-
cro receiver the country setting can be selected without using the
GigaControl Software. Please see Para 8.2.7.
The transmitter module can be reset back to the factory settings
but it should be noted that this will delete all of the old settings
and data, including the details of any receivers bonded to the
transmitter module. If the module is reset, all receivers must be
bonded to the module again as outlined in Para. 10.5. A warning
message will be displayed which must be acknowledged before
the reset will take place.
11.3.2 Receiver settings
Click on the window “Receiver settings” and the following win-
dow will open. You will now be presented with a variety of infor-
mation regarding any weatronic Dual receiver which is bound to
the transmitter module. This information is sent to the computer via
the return signal to the transmitter module.
You can choose a picture which is stored on your computer to
identify the receiver by clicking ‘Select picture’ and choosing a sui-
table picture from your files. The picture can be deleted by clicking
‘Delete picture’. Furthermore, details of the model can be added to
the field below the picture (‘comment’).
The first 4 boxes display system information, the receiver type, the
serial number, the Firmware version and the country setting.
The boxes below that show the actual current values of the recei-
ver, namely
Signal strength received by both of the receiver circuits
Output signal strength of both of the receiver circuits
Voltage of both receiver batteries
USB voltage
Total current draw
GPS position
Receiver circuit board temperature
Time and date
The area below that shows the values which can be adjusted by
the user and are as follows:
The following settings will cause the transmitter “ERROR“ LED to
flash and an warning tone to be heard (if an earphone is fitted) if
the value is exceeded:
