12.3 Control Element (Rheostat) Connection
The wiring harness is prepared for connection to the
control element.
Simply pull on the connector housing to unplug the
connector.
The connector housing can be locked (self-locking
action) by simply pulling on the wiring harness.
Locate the control element in a convenient location.
The control element is not affected by temperature.
Temperature is monitored inside the heater or via an
optional external temperature sensor (see Figure 29).
NOTE: The fibre optic lens must be in
contact with the rotary knob.
NOTE: The rotary knob must sit flush
with the bezel (Figure 27) not above it as
illustrated in Figure 28.
NOTE: As an option an external
temperature sensor may be installed in
the passenger cabin (see page13).

manual for further information.
Shaft requires a 12 mm (15/32 in.)
hole to mount.
