General Information

Dear Webasto Customer,

We thank you for purchasing this new Webasto original accessory.

This product provides you with a comfortable and innovative operating option for

your Webasto auxiliary heating. This operating manual supplements the

explanations by your installing Webasto workshop or service station and once

again, covers all the functions of the ThermoCall TC1.1.

Use

our Webasto auxiliary heating or auxiliary ventilation can be controlled remotely

using DTMF data transmission via telephone. All mobile and fixed network

telephones that allow the transmission of multi-frequency dialing signals are

suitable as operating units.

When you call your ThermoCall TC1.1, the menu-guided system makes it simple for

you to operate your Webasto auxiliary heating/ventilation located in the vehicle. For

example, you can select the operating period or program an internal preset timer.

NOTES:

• Please always observe the general operating manual for your Webasto

auxiliary heating and the location of your vehicle before activating the TC 1.1.

• In heating mode, the vehicle heating must be set to “warm” before leaving the

vehicle.

The vehicle blower must be set to heating and ventilation mode, (for a 3-level

blower to the 1st level and for a 4-level blower to the 2nd level).

For infinitely variable blowers, set it to at least 1/3 of the maximum.

• For Thermo Top and Thermo Top T heating units, the operating period of 20

or 30 minutes must be set in the heating mode.

For Thermo Top Z/C and Thermo Top E heating devices, we recommend

setting the heating time to correspond to the travel time in order to prevent

discharging of the vehicle battery. For a daily travel time of approx. 30

minutes, we recommend limiting the operating period to a maximum of 30

minutes.

For air heaters and truck or bus water heaters, it is possible to program the

operating period up to 120 minutes.

ThermoCall TC1.1 is factory set to 30 minutes of heating.

Operation via Fixed Network or Mobile Telephone • Set your fixed network telephone to tone dialing (DTMF). You can find information about this in the operating manual for your telephone. This function is already configured for most mobile telephones. • After ordering it from your telephone carrier, you have been assigned a separate ThermoCall telephone number. • Call the telephone number of your ThermoCall TC1.1.

Note 1 Comment Not present when the system was activated via the external preset timer.
