WARNING! POTENTIAL SHOCK HAZARD
COOKING
Light the charcoals before placing the rotisserie unit on the
barbecue. Refer to the Weber
®
charcoal grill owner’s guide for
lighting instructions.
Arrange the coals for indirect cooking using a drip pan as
indicated in your charcoal grill owner’s guide.
Truss meat or poultry with string, if necessary, to make the
shape as uniform as possible before putting it on the spit.
Place the drip-pan in the center of the lower grate before
positioning the rotisserie and food on the barbecue.
All cooking should be performed with the grill lid closed.
Follow cooking instructions in your charcoal grill owner’s
guide. Food preparation steps are the same for rotisserie
cooking as for ordinary cooking. Indicated timing in the
owner’s guide will be the same.
If foods are too heavy or are irregular in shape, they may
not rotate well and should instead be cooked by the indirect
method without using the rotisserie.
