BLOWER TU BE
The
BLOWER TUBE is designed to direct
the flow of air.
INLET RESTRICTOR
The
INLET RESTRICTOR improves the
blower function.
TUBE RELEASE BUTTO N
The
TUBE RELEASE BUTTON secur es th e
blo w er t u be or elbow tube to the bl ow e r
unit during operation. Also, pressing the
tube release button all ows removal of the
blower tube or elbow tube.
WARNING: You MUST make sure
the tubes are secure before using the uni t .
WARNING: Do not use the unit
wit hout the tubes or collecti on bag proper-
ly attached to avoid f lyi ng debr is and/or
impell er contact which can cause serious
injur y. Always wear eye prot e cti on to pre-
vent rocks or debr i s from being blown or
ri cocheting int o the eyes and face which
can result in blindness or ser ious injury.
STOPPING YOUR UNIT
Slide the
ON/OFF switch to the OFF
position.
STARTING YOUR UNIT
Your unit ha s two run positions,
LOW
and HIGH. Slide the s witch to one of
these positions to turn on the unit.

USING YOUR UNIT AS A BLOWER
WARNING: Inspect the area be-
fore using the unit. Remove all debris
and hard objects such as rocks, glass,
wire, etc., that c an ricochet, b e thrown,
or o therwise cause injury or damage
during operation.
Use your unit as a blower for:
D Sweeping debris or grass clippings from
driveways, sidewalks, patios, etc.
D Blowing grass clippings, straw, or leaves
into piles, or removing debris from cor-
ners, around joints, or between bricks.
Direct air flow by directing the blower
tube down or to one side. Always work
away from solid objects such as wal ks,
lar ge stones, vehicles, and fences.

moving out war d. This wil l help prevent
an accumulation of debris which could
fly into your face. Be careful when
workingnearplants.Theforceoftheair
could damage tender pl ants.
USING YOUR UN IT AS A VACUUM
WARNING: Do not vacu um
stones, gravel, metal, b roken glass,
etc., to avoid severe damage to the im-
peller. To avoid the possibility of electri-
cal shock, do not attempt to vacuum wa-
ter or other liquids.
Use your unit as a vacuum to pick up
dry material such as leaves, grass,
small twigs, and bits of paper.
D For best results during vacuum use,
operate your unit at high speed.
D Move slowly back and forth over the
material as you vacuum. Avoid forc-
ing the unit into a pile of debris as
this can clog the unit.
D Keep the vacuum tube about an inch
above the ground for best results.
WARNING: If the unit bec omes
clogged, stop the unit and unplug theex-
tension cord. Wait until the impeller has
completely stopped turning, then re-
move the vacuum tubes. Carefully
reach into the vacuum opening and
clear out the clogged debris.

The war r anty on this unit does not cover
items that have been subject ed to opera-
tor abuse or negl igence. To receive full
value from the warranty, the operator must
maintain unit as instructed in this manual.
Various adjustment s will need to be made
peri odicall y to properly maintain your unit.
