1.6.2 Battery and battery charger for EPG 60
WARNING
Charge the batteries ONLY with battery chargers approved by Weidmüller.
A charger that is suitable for one type of battery pack may create a risk of re when
used with another battery pack.
Use the power tools only with specically designated battery packs.
The use of any other battery packs may create a risk of injury and re.
When the battery pack is not in use, keep it away from metal objects like paper
clips, coins, keys, nails, screws or other small metal objects that could make a
connection from one terminal to another.
A short-circuit between the battery terminals could lead to burns or re.
Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from the battery. Avoid the
contact with such liquids. If contact occurs accidentally, ush with water. If the
liquid should come into contact with your eyes, additionally seek medical help.
Liquid leaking out of the battery may cause skin irritation or burns.
Do not use a defective or modied battery.
Defective or modied batteries may behave unpredictably and lead to re, explosion
or risk of injury.
Do not expose a battery to re or high temperatures.
Fire or temperatures above 265 °F (130 °C) may cause the battery to explode.
Observe all charging instructions and never charge the battery when outside
the temperature range specied in the operating instructions.
Wrong charging or charging outside the admissible temperature range may destroy
the battery and increase the risk of re.
