u-link Remote Access Service
• u-link uses X.509 certicates for meeting point server
authentication; these certicates are generated locally on
the devices and are not transferred
• 2048-bit keys secure protection
• The u-link web portal is protected by a TLS/SSL
connection and 2-factor authentication
• u-link uses outbound connections only. This avoids
allowance of incoming connections in the rewall, and
remote access does not require a static IP address
• u-link is rewall-friendly since only port 443 is used
• u-link accepts only unique, one-time activation codes for
clients
• u-link‘s user and rights management prevents unwanted

• u-link offers a customisable password policy
• u-link connections, when not in use, are terminated
