The conditions specilied in the EC-Type Examination Certilicates 01 the Ex components have to

be taken into account lor the installation 01these components in the enclosure.

The degree 01protection, at least IP 64 lor dusU IP 54 lor gas, at the installation and operation is

reached only at the proper use 01 cable glands which are tested and conlirmed on explosion

protection.

The applicable temperalure ranges lor the ambient temperature depending on the temperalure

class

max. Surface temperalure must be observed.

The values are maximum values, the actuai electrical values are determined by the built-in com-

ponents. The manulacturer fixes the delinite rated values in the context 01 these limiting values.

So the manulacturer ensures the compliances with the maximum surface temperature and the

permissible operating temperature 01the components.
