8. Quality control
Dimensional control
The enclosure dimensions are tested (random samples)
using a 3-D measuring arm. This permits errors to be
clearly identied.
9. Packaging
The enclosures are packed in a specially designed
exible carton before they are shipped.

INFO: Standardised protective inserts at all corners of the
enclosure protect the enclosure perfectly and t tightly
in order to avoid any slippage during transportation. The
carton has been designed so that it can be reused even after
cable glands have been attached to the enclosure.
Vacuum testing
Computer-assisted vacuum testing is used to check
random enclosures for leaks. The sensitivity of these
tests is so high that they can detect a hole in the
enclosure that is 0.1 mm in diameter.
