This technical information explains the reason for two different end plates and two different cross-
connections shown in the online catalog for the WDU 6 SL.
Following the first set up:
WDU 6 SL (9537460000) WAP 2.5-10 (1050000000) WQV 6/5 (1062670000)
Main terminal one time use for the last terminal as example
By using hook blades with 3.0 mm width (1312470000 HBT 6,0 - 3,0 GE) and crimped with the tool
CTI 6G (9202850000), the set up above has to be used.
By using the bigger hook blades with 4.6 width (1216230000 HBT 6,0 - 4,6 GE) and crimped with the
tool CTI 6G (9202850000), the set up has to be changed to the following:
WDU 6 SL (9537460000) WAP 2.5-10 4-6 (1272380000) WQV 10/5 (1062670000)
Main terminal used for each single terminal as example
The reason for this set up is that the hook blades with 4.6 mm width are crimped wider than the pitch
of the WDU 6 SL. Therefore we designed the end plate WAP 2.5-10 4-6 (1272380000) to have a tight
set up of rowed terminals. Here a WQV 6 cannot be used anymore which leads to use WQV 10.
