The following deﬁned terms are used throughout these instructions to bring attention to the presence of hazards of

To the installer:

These instructions must only be used by a qualiﬁed installer/service technician. Read these instructions

completely before beginning the installation. Failure to follow all instructions can cause severe personal

injury, death or substantial property damage.

Do NOT exhaust ﬂue gases through the condensate tube, it is not rated for boiler or furnace ﬂue gases.

Operating the condensate tube as an exhaust vent can cause injury or death from carbon monoxide.

Application: Condensing boilers and furnaces.

(1) Condensate Neutralizer Tube (383-500-631 14” 525MBH, 383-600-076 19” 1000MBH)

(2) Barb Fitting 1/2 NPT x 1/2” O.D. (383-500-631 & 383-600-076)

(2) Barb Fitting 3/4 NPT x 3/4” O.D. (383-600-287)

Instructions:

Step 1 Turn off electrical power to the boiler or furnace.

Step 2 Turn off main manual gas shutoff to the boiler or furnace.

Step 3 If you are using this kit to replace an existing condensate drain line, detach the existing condensate line from the

boiler or furnace connection.

Step 4 Connect plastic tubes or PVC piping from boiler or furnace condensate trap outlet to either one of the two

neutralizer side inlets. Insert the 1/2 NPT Plug in the remaining neutralizer inlet. Connect the neutralizer end

outlet to ﬂoor drain or condensate pump, making sure the drain line runs level or continuously downhill. Drain

line must not be higher than the tee at jacket.

Do not allow the drain line to rise above the height of the tee at any point. This could prevent the removal of condensate and could damage the boiler or furnace, or prevent it from operating. Condensate fill over-flow the tee and may cause damage to floor and other property. Failure to comply with this warning could result in severe personal injury, death or substantial property damage. Step 5 Use Teflon tape on all plastic fittings.
