Do not allow the drain line to rise above the height of the tee at any point. This could prevent the removal
of condensate and could damage the boiler or furnace, or prevent it from operating. Condensate fill
over-flow the tee and may cause damage to floor and other property. Failure to comply with this warning
could result in severe personal injury, death or substantial property damage.
Step 5 Use Teflon tape on all plastic fittings.
Step 6 If necessary, provide support(s) under the condensate drain line to make sure it remains in position.
Before operating the boiler or furnace, fill the condensate neutralizer tube and the appliance condensate
trap with tap water. NEVER operate the condensate neutralizer tube or the appliance condensate trap dry.
Failure to comply with this warning could result in severe personal injury, death or substantial property
damage.
Step 7 Turn on electrical power and gas to the boiler or furnace and restore the appliance to normal operation
and verify condensate drains properly.
Installation must comply with all local, state, provincial and national codes, laws, regulations and
ordinances.
To the Owner: Condensate neutralizer tubes should be replaced every two years, or every 2,000
operating hours, or when PH level moves below 6, whichever comes first.
