Diagnostics Tests
(HOME PAGE DIAGNOSTICS DIAGNOSTICS TESTS)
1. Pressing the DIAGNOSTICS TESTS buon launches the diag-
nostic tests (Figure72.).
2. is screen enables the user to perform the following tests:
a. Modulation Test: enables the user to verify that the burner is
ring at the correct rate. (See Figure72.)
b. Pump Test: enables the user to verify that the correct pump
is on or o. e Start Test buon will test all pumps; press-
ing an individual pump tests that pump only. (See Figure73,
page64.)
c. Burner Switch: this buon turns the burner on or o.
d. Start Test: runs the test for 5 minutes.

Use the modulation test screen to manually control the
boiler ring rate during startup combustion verica-
tion.

Trend Analysis
(HOME PAGE DETAILS ANALYSIS)
1. Use the Sola control’s trend analysis functions to see graphical
displays of operating data vs time (see Figure75).
2. To start a trend analysis:
a. Press the ANALYSIS buon on the Details screen. Select the
operating data to be monitored.
b. e Trend Analysis screen will appear (Figure75).
c. Up to 10 variables can be trended at the same time.
d. To add an operating variable to the list, use the Trend Variable
drop-down menu at the top. Select an item. en press the
ADD buon (boom le).
e. To remove items from the list, press DELETE for a single
highlighted item or CLEAR ALL to remove all items.
f. Only two dierent measurement units can be trended (such
as degrees and RPM’s, for example). e control won’t accept
another item if it requires a dierent unit.
g. When ready to view the graph, press the START TRENDING
buon (upper right). To stop a trend run, press the STOP
TRENDING buon (right center).
h. To see the graph, press the VIEW buon to go to the graph
screen.
i. To see a saved trend analysis, press the VIEW SNAPSHOT
buon. From the next screen, select the saved analysis desired.
