4-8-2 Transmitting Files
Transmitting Files via Wireless Communications
Files can be transmitted via wireless communication from the CTR-800-11W to a
host computer through an access point. Communication is performed using the
FTP protocol.
Before transmitting a file, please check the following.
Have the wireless-communications parameters (P.4-18) been set up correctly?
Have the Access Point and host computer been set up and connected correctly?
Has the FTP been set up (P. 4-21) correctly?
Is the power of the access point and the host computer on?
Is the access point operating normally?
Has the FTP server started on the host computer?
Refer to the access point (our recommended item) manual for details about the
wireless network structure.
1. Turn ON the power of the CTR-800-11W and select
"4:File" from the "System Menu."
2. Then select "2:Send."
3. From the "Select Interface" select "1:RF."
4. Select a file to transmit and transmit the file.
5. When a message indicating that the file was
transmitted successfully is shown on the CTR-800-
11W screen, press the
key to return to the
previous screen.
