PREPARATION & ASSEMBLY

INSTALLING SANDING BANDS (FIG. 1)

1. Loosen the ﬂat-head screw on the top of the sanding drum

using the back of the included 2-in-1 wrench.

2. Slide the sanding band onto the sanding drum.

3. Secure the sanding drum in place by tightening the screw.

Make sure the sanding drum is sufﬁciently expanded so that

the sanding band is secured in place.

NOTE: If the sanding band is loose on the drum, it may ﬂy off

WARNING:

To avoid injuries from accidental startups, always ensure that the tool is turned OFF

before making adjustments or changing accessories.

INSTALLING WHEEL/DISC ACCESSORIES (FIG. 2)

1. Loosen and remove the screw cap at the top of the mandrel

using the back of the included 2-in-1 wrench

2. Remove the top red ring from the screw and slide the disc

accessory onto the screw, above the bottom red ring.

3. Slide the top red ring above the disc accessory, so that

there is one red ring on each side of the disc.

4. Reattach and tighten the screw cap onto the mandrel to

secure the accessory in place.

INSTALLING FELT ACCESSORIES (FIG. 3)

Thread the felt polishing accessory straight down onto the

tip of the screw mandrel. The accessory must be threaded

all the way down to touch the collar of the screw mandrel.
