ELECTRICAL INFORMATION DOUBLE INSULATION Double insulation is a concept in safety in electric power tools, which eliminates the need for the usual three-wire grounded power cord. All exposed metal parts are isolated from the internal metal motor components with protecting insulation. Double insulated tools do not need to be grounded. WARNING: The double insulated system is intended to protect the user from electric shock resulting from a break in the tool’s internal insulation.
KNOW YOUR ROTARY TOOL Collet Lock Button Hook Locking Collar Collet Nut Rotational Speed Wheel Steady Grip Attachment ASSEMBLY AND ADJUSTMENTS STEADY GRIP ATTACHMENT Your rotary tool can be used in two configurations, depending on your personal preference and the requirement of the project. 1. The tool comes assembled with the steady grip attachment (Fig. 1). This configuration allows you to hold the steady grip handle instead of the rotary tool body during operation. 2.
ASSEMBLY AND ADJUSTMENTS INSTALLING THE ROTARY BITS 1. Make sure that the tool is unplugged before attempting any tool adjustments. 3. Hold down the collet lock button and rotate the collet nut until the lock engages. 4. Using the included wrench, loosen the collet nut and remove it from the tool. Release the collet lock button. 5. The collet is located inside the collet nut. Four collet sizes are available for your rotary tool: 1/8”, 3/32”, 1/32” and 1/16”.

Take the flex shaft and slide the inner core out about 2-3”. 3. Loosen the collet nut by pressing down on the collet lock button and unscrewing the collet nut. Make sure that the collet being used is appropriate for the flex shaft’s inner core 4. Insert the inner core of the flex shaft into the collet nut.
