8. Pressingdownlightly,movetheBladesmoothlyacrosstheworkpiecetocutit.Withnarrowmate-
rial,youcanpressstraightdown“chopping”thematerial.Withwidermaterialyoumustmovethe
bladeacrossthematerialtocutit.Donotbeardownonthematerial,uselightdownwardpressure.
Ifthematerialbindstheblade,releasethetrigger.Keepyourhandsandngersawayfromthe
blade.
9. Whenthecutiscompleted,raisetheBladeAssembly,waitforthebladetostopturning,releasethe
HoldDownClampandremovetheworkpiecefromthesaw.
Avoid Injury From Jams, Sips or Thrown Pieces
1. Usethecorrect8-14"bladeforthematerialandtypeofcut.Donotcutmaterialsthatmayshatter,
grabthebladeorcauseotherdanger.
2. Onlyuseabladethatissharpandingoodcondition.Checkalignmentofthebladeafteritis
installed.Unplugthesawandcarefullyspinthebladeusingyourhand.Thebladeshouldnot
contactanycomponentsofthesaw.Ifso,correcttheproblembeforeoperatingthesaw.
3. Besurethebladeandbladeangesareclean.
4. Makesurethebladeangesareproperlyinstalled.
5. Besurethearborboltandwasherareproperlyinstalledandtightened.
6. Ensureallclampsandlocksaretight.Verifythereisnoexcessiveplayinanyparts.
7. Allowthebladetoreachfullspeedbeforecutting.
Do Not Cut Freehand
1. TheworkpieceshouldbetightagainsttheGuideFence.Verifytheworkpiecewillnotrockortwist
whenit’sbeingcut.Theareabetweentheworkpieceandthesawmustbefreefromdebris.
2. Makesurethereisnogapbetweentheworkpiece,GuideFenceandbaseofthesaw.Agapcould
allowtheworkpiecetomovewhenit’sbeingcut.
3. Useclamps,xturesorotherdevicestoholdanunstableworkpiece.
4. Donotcutmorethanoneworkpieceatatime.
5. Allowroomsothecut-offworkpiececanmoveafterit’scut.Itcouldcreateahazardbybecoming
wedgedagainsttheblade.
