INTRODUCTION Thanks for purchasing the WEN Miter Saw Stand. We know you are excited to put your tool to work, but first, please take a moment to read through the manual. Safe operation of this tool requires that you read and understand this operator’s manual and all the labels affixed to the tool. This manual provides information regarding potential safety concerns, as well as helpful assembly and operating instructions for your tool. SAFETY ALERT SYMBOL: Indicates danger, warning, or caution.

ELECTRICAL INFORMATION GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS In the event of a malfunction or breakdown, grounding provides the path of least resistance for an electric current and reduces the risk of electric shock. This tool is equipped with an electric cord that has an equipment grounding conductor and a grounding plug. The plug MUST be plugged into a matching outlet that is properly installed and grounded in accordance with ALL local codes and ordinances. 1. Do not modify the plug provided.
UNPACKING & PACKING LIST UNPACKING With the help of a friend or trustworthy foe, such as one of your in-laws, carefully remove the miter saw stand from the packaging and place it on a sturdy, flat surface. Make sure to take out all contents and accessories. Do not discard the packaging until everything is removed. Check the packing list below to make sure you have all of the parts and accessories.
KNOW YOUR MITER SAW STAND TOOL PURPOSE Miter Saw Stands adequately support both your miter saw and your workpiece to help you get the job done. Refer to the following diagrams to become familiarized with all the parts and controls of your Miter Saw Stand. The components will be referred to later in the manual for assembly and operation instructions.
ASSEMBLY & ADJUSTMENTS UNFOLDING THE LEGS Fig. 1 1. Place the miter saw stand on a flat surface with the folded legs facing up. 2. Press down the release lever (Fig. 1 - 1) to disengage the locking pin and rotate the leg up until the locking pin clicks into the open position. 1 3. Deploy all four legs and lock them into place. 4. Flip the stand over to the upright position and check if the stand is stable on the ground. 2 5. ASSEMBLY & ADJUSTMENTS INSTALLING THE HANDLE Fig. 5 Secure the handle (Fig. 5 - 1) to the side of the stand without wheels, using two screws, flat washers, and lock washers. Tighten each of the screws so that the handle is secured. INSTALLING THE MOUNTING BRACKETS With the locking handle (Fig. 6 - 1) in the unlocked position, hook the bracket onto the stand’s main frames. Lock the brackets into place by gently pressing down the locking levers.
OPERATION MOUNTING A MITER SAW TO THE STAND The miter saw stand should fit most miter saws. Make sure the miter saw is unplugged from power supply before attempting to mount it onto the stand. Refer to the next section on Page 10 for mounting uncommon miter saws. 1. Remove and safely store the four plastic feet from underneath the base of the miter saw (Fig. 7). If the miter saw has a stability block underneath the positive stop locking lever, remove and safely store it as well. Fig. 8 Fig. 9 2.
OPERATION MOUNTING UNUSUAL MITER SAWS If your miter saw is strange or unusual in terms of either its mounting holes or its social skills, don’t be alarmed. Every miter saw is special in its own unique way. If you have one of these special miter saws, an adaptor plate may be necessary. The adaptor should be a square or rectangular worktop (such as a piece of plywood) that fits the footprint and mounting hole configuration of your miter saw. We recommend using a piece of plywood at least one inch thick. 1.
