Grease fork pivot fi ttings and gears with automotive
grease using a grease gun.

Inspect steering operations, gear housing and linkage. X
Wash batteries with baking soda and water. (Be sure
charger is not plugged in). Dry batteries thoroughly
before returning to service.

Change oil level in transaxle. X
Clean, inspect, repack and reseal front axle and steer-
ing fork bearings.

Lubricate steering chain and sprockets. X
Check steering drive chain (link from steering wheel
to steer gear) for wear.
NOTE: This does not apply to PC 300, PC 325, and
PCT 3500 units.

WARNING
Do not expose the batteries to fl ames or electrical sparks. Hydrogen gas is generated during the
battery charging operation. Hydrogen gas is explosive. Do not allow battery acid to come in contact
with skin, eyes, clothing or painted surfaces. If it gets into eyes or on skin, immediately fl ush with
water for 15 minutes and seek medical attention right away.
