IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS • This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce risk of electric shock, this plug will fit into a polarized outlet only one way. WARRANTY THREE-YEAR LIMITED WAR R A N T Y Back to Basics Products, Inc., warrants your new smoothie maker to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal household use for a period of 3 years from the date of purchase. During this period, such defects will be repaired or the product replaced at Back to Basics discretion without charge. This warranty does not cover exterior or interior finish or damage caused by misuse, accident or negligence.
OPERATION Use and Care (Assembly) To use your smoothie maker maker, begin by assembling the mixing container. Position the rubber gasket down onto the circular flat surface in the blade base. 2. Screw blade base on the bottom of the mixing container by twisting the blade base counter-clockwise until tightened onto the mixing container container.
OPERATION AutoServe Smoothie Maker Control Switches LOW runs the unit at low speed. This speed should be used for the initial 30 seconds of mixing. OFF shuts off the machine. READY LIGHT Indicates that the power is on and the machine is ready for use. HIGH runs the unit at high speed. This speed should be used for the final stages of mixing. PULSE gives short bursts of power at high speed. Use PULSE to begin the mixing of ice and other hard ingredients.
OPERATION SERVE IT T serve a smoothie, simply press your glass against the auto-powered To dispensing button on the motor base. This automatically runs the motor at a low speed and dispenses smoothies and other blended drinks into your glass. When your desired serving size is reached, remove your glass from under the valve. This releases the dispensing button and the machine will automatically turn off. Stir the contents in the mixing container with the stir stick while dispensing thick smoothies.
CLEANING CARE & CLEANING Before using the first time and after each use, be sure to thoroughly wash the mixing container, blade assembly, rubber gasket, valve, lid and stir stick. To prolong the life of your smoothie maker maker, do not wash parts in the dishwasher. Unscrew and disassemble the valve for cleaning (see below). Also, remove blade assembly from the mixing container and rubber gasket for cleaning; turn it clockwise to remove.
RECIPES STRAWBERRY BANANA SUPREME SMOOTHIE 1 cup 1 cup 1 2½ cups 1 cup strawberry nectar or apple juice milk frozen banana (chunks) frozen strawberries strawberry yogurt Pour liquid ingredients into the smoothie maker. Add all frozen ingredients. Blend until smooth. While the machine is running, move the stir stick around counter-clockwise to aid mixing. Serve immediately. Makes 3–5 servings.
RECIPES RASPBERRY CREAM SMOOTHIE 1 cup 1 cup 1 cup ½ 1½ cups orange juice raspberry yogurt vanilla frozen yogurt frozen banana (chunks) frozen raspberries Pour liquid ingredients into the smoothie maker. Add all frozen ingredients. Blend until smooth. While the machine is running, move the stir stick around counter-clockwise to aid mixing. Serve immediately. Makes 3–5 servings. ORANGE BANANA CREAM SMOOTHIE 1 cup 1½ cups ½ tsp. ½ 1 cup ½ cup 3 tbs.

FONCTIONNEMENT 5. Une fois le couvercle et le gobelet verrouillés en place, le voyant lumineux marqué « Ready » s’allumera, ce qui signifie que tous les interrupteurs de sécurité sont enclenchés. 6. Branchez le cordon d’alimentation. Vous êtes maintenant prêt à utiliser votre machine à boisson fouettée. REMARQUE : Lorsque tous les interrupteurs de verrouillage sont actifs, le voyant lumineux s’allume. Cela signifie que vous pouvez mettre l’appareil en marche.
FONCTIONNEMENT Interrupteurs de commande de la machine à boisson fouettée AutoServe La commande LOW entraîne une révolution du moteur à faible vitesse. Utilisez cette vitesse pendant les 30 premières secondes de mélange. Le bouton OFF permet d’éteindre l’appareil. Le voyant lumineux « READY » indique que l’appareil est sous tension et prêt à être utilisé. La commande HIGH entraîne le moteur à haute vitesse. Utilisez cette vitesse à l’étape finale du mélange.
FONCTIONNEMENT MÉLANGER Une fois le couvercle fixé et le bâtonnet mélangeur en place dans l’orifice du couvercle, appuyez sur la commande PULSE à deux ou trois reprises. Ensuite, appuyez sur le bouton LOW, et mélangez de 20 à 30 secondes. Appuyez sur le bouton HIGH pendant les 10 à 15 dernières secondes. Pour de meilleurs résultats, actionnez le bâtonnet-mélangeur dans le sens antihoraire.
NETTOYAGE ENTRETIEN ET NETTOYAGE Avant d’utiliser l’appareil pour la première fois et après chaque utilisation, lavez soigneusement le récipient de mélange, le module de la lame, le joint de caoutchouc, la soupape, le couvercle et le bâtonnet mélangeur. Pour prolonger la vie de votre machine à boisson fouettée, ne lavez pas les pièces au lave-vaisselle. Dévissez et désassemblez la soupape pour la nettoyer (voir ci-dessous).
RECETTES BOISSON FOUETTÉE SUPRÊME AUX BANANES 1 1 1 2 1 tasse de nectar de fraises ou de jus de pommes tasse de lait banane congelée (morceaux) 1/2 tasses de fraises congelées tasse de yogourt aux fraises Versez les ingrédients mous dans la machine à boisson fouettée. Incorporez tous les ingrédients congelés. Mélangez jusqu’à l’obtention d’une consistance lisse.
