Assembling Your Food Processor
CAUTION:Followtheseimportantstepstoassemblethefoodprocessorquickly
andcorrectly.Injurymayresultifmovingbladesareaccidentallyexposed.Unplug
appliancefromelectricaloutletbeforeassembling,removing,orcleaning.Never
placemotororcordinwaterorotherliquids.
Beforeassemblingyourfoodprocessor,washallloosepartsinwarm,soapywater,
rinsethoroughlythendry.
1. Aligntabsoncontainerwithlockingslotsonbase.Rotatethecontainerclock 
 wiseuntilitlocksintoposition.NOTE:Thefoodprocessorwillnotoperate 
 unlessthecontainerissecurelylockedintoposition.
2. Placethechoppingbladeorbladeextensionhubintoplaceoverthemotor 
 shaft.Thebladeextensionhubassemblesonlyoneway,andisused 
 tosupportthereversibleslicing/shreddingblade.NOTE:Donotattempttouse
 boththechoppingbladeandtheslicing/shreddingbladeatthesametime.
3. Placecoveronbase.Thetabonthecovermustrotateclockwiseandengage
 theslotinthetopofthehandle.NOTE:TheFoodProcessorwillnotoperate 
 unlessthecoverislockedintoposition.
4. Insertfoodpusherintolidcoveropening.
5. YourStudioFoodProcessorisnowreadyforuse.
