Using Your Food Processor – Chopping and Mixing
1. FollowtheassemblyinstructionsintheAssemblingyourFoodProcessorsection.
2. MakesuretheswitchisOFFandthefoodprocessorisunplugged.
3. Thechoppingbladecanbeusedtocoarselyornelychop,andmincefoods.
Increasedprocessingtimewillresultinfoodsthatarepuréedtoasmooth
consistency.
4. Placechoppingbladeovermotorhub.Bladesaresharp-handlecarefully.
5. Formoreuniformresults,startwithfoodpiecesthatareuniforminsize.
Foodpiecesshouldbepre-cuttoapproximately1-inchinsizeforbestresults.
6. Addingredientstothefoodprocessorcontainer.Securelylockthecoverinplace.
7. Placecoveronfoodprocessorcontainer.
8. Plugcordintooutlet.
9. Alwaysoperatefoodprocessoronaclean,drysurfacetopreventairfrom
carryingforeignmaterialorwaterintothemotor.
10.TOCHOP:ChooseLOWspeedtoobserveresults.Theprocessingspeed
andtimewilldetermineresults.Thepulsesettingwillhelpyouavoidover-
processing.
11.TOMINCE:Increaseprocessingtimeorspeed.
12.TOPURÉE:UsetheHIGHsetting.
13.TheblueLEDlightwillbe“ON“duringoperation.
14.UserubberspatulatopushingredientstobechoppedONLYwhenmotorisOFF.
15.Switchtoahigherspeedifthemotorseemstolaborwhenprocessingtopre-
ventover-loadingofthemotor.
16.TOSTOPPROCESSING:TurntheswitchtoOFF.
17.Waituntilbladesstoprotatingbeforeremovingcoverand/orprocessingcontainer.
18.Removeprocessorcontainerbyturningcounter-clockwiseonbasetounlock.

3. Thereversibleslicing/shreddingbladecanbeusedtosliceorshredrmfoods
intothefoodprocessorcontainer.
4. Placebladeextensionovermotorhub.Bladesaresharp-handlecarefully.
5. Placeslice/shredbladeontothehub.
6. Placecoverontofoodprocessorcontainer.
7. Formoreuniformresults,startwithfoodpiecesthatareuniforminsize.Food
piecesshouldbeprecuttotintothefoodpusheropeningonthecover.
DONOTUSEFINGERSTOPUSHFOODINTOTHEOPENING.
8. Addfoodpiecesintothefoodpusheropeningontopofthecover.Placefood
pusherintoopening.
9. Plugcordintooutlet.
10.Alwaysoperatefoodprocessoronaclean,drysurfacetopreventairfrom
carryingforeignmaterialorwaterintothemotor.
11.TOSLICE:ChooseLOWspeed.Exertmediumpressuretoevenlyfeedfoods
intoshreddingblade.Bestresultsareobtainedbyllingfoodpusheropening
withfoodstobesliced.Long,thinfoodshouldbepacednexttoeachother
llingthefoodpusheropening.
