2.3.7 Modem Receive Mode Icon
- Indicates the status that the phone is set in Modem
Receive Mode to transmit/receive the file using data
service.
- “Modem Rcv Mode” message is displayed on the
bottom line of the screen with this icon.
- If a call is received, the Communication Utility
connected with the phone in the PC is automatically
activated and the file is received. The user will be
unable to speak through the handset or speakerphone
while the facsimile is being received.
- The user cannot receive the voice call from the other
party when this mode is set and only can receive the
data files. However, the user can make a voice call to
the other party even if this mode is set unless the data
file is being received.
2.3.8 Battery Icon
- Indicates the strength of the installed, internal battery
- The battery strength is displayed in a range of 5-bars
(strongest charge) to 0-bars (no charge).
- When the battery strength is weakening, the phone
beeps to indicate a battery recharge is needed.
