RAISE THE HOSE ABOVE THE
LEVEL OF THE MANIFOLD IN
A GENTLE LOOP DOWN TO,
THE EXHAUST ELBOW
HEAT EXCHANGER
WHEN A SYPHON BREAK IS NOT REQUIRED
WESTERBEKE recommends that the hose
(installer supplied) discharging raw water from
the heat exchanger to the water injected exhaust
elbow be looped above and down to the inlet
fitting
on the elbow. The hose can be secured by
a plastic wire tie as illustrated.
