Filling the Oil Sump

Add fresh oil through the oil

filler cap on the valve cover.

After refilling the oil, run the engine for a few moments

while checking the engine's oil pressure. Make sure

there

no leakage around the new oil filter

from the

oil drain system, and stop the engine. Then check the

quantity of oil with the dipstick. Fill to, but not over, the

high mark on the dipstick, should the engine require ad-

ditional oil.
