VIEWING PHOTOS – 32
Viewing Photos
With the HD media player you can view your digital photo album in the comfort of
your living room. It’s perfect for sharing fun times with your friends and family. The
following image file formats are supported:
• GIF (Animated GIFs are not supported)
Older format still widely available on the Internet for photos, web pages, and
clipart.
• BMP (non-compressed)
Windows bitmap file. Widely used in Microsoft
®
Windows
®
for pictures and
background.
• JPEG (grayscale, RGB, YCbCy)
(does not support CMYK or YCCK) The JPEG format is the Internet and digital
photo format standard used by most digital cameras.
• TIF/TIFF (RGB)
(does not support CMYK, YMC, YMCK, or KCMY) Tagged Image File Format is
a rastor file format.
• PNG (Non-alpha channel only)
Portable Network Graphics standard is created in response to limitations in the
GIF file format.
Photo Display
1. Press HOME, then select the Photo bar. The photo bar is displayed. .
2. Select the All Photo icon , then press ENTER.

If Media Library is enabled, you can choose to navigate using a filter (All Pictures,
Date, Folders, and Recent) by selecting the Photo icon and then using the left and
right arrow buttons on the remote control to scroll through the options listed.
