9. Polling Accumulated Data
The procedures in this section are used to retrieve the data that PollCat III has collected from
your PBX.
9.1. The Data Release Mode
Once PollCat III has collected a number of Data Records and Alarm Records, Command ^B01
is used to release data to the polling device. This is referred to as "Data Release Mode".
CAUTION: If the Auto Delete Option (^B67,2) has been selected in the Binary
Block Mode, data will be deleted from internal memory as soon as it is released.
Note that the following commands may also be used in Data Release Mode:
·
Type ^B02 [Enter] to display the next group of "N" records or blocks (when Command
^B01,N has been invoked to release data in groups of "N" records or blocks).
·
Type ^B06 [Enter] to re-send the previous group of "N" records or blocks (when
Command ^B01,N has been invoked to release data in groups of "N" records or blocks).
·
Type ^B30 [Enter] to leave the Data Release Mode and return to Command Mode at any
time.
Notes:
If Command ^B54,2 (Release Data with ^B02) is active, and Command ^B01,n is
invoked to release data in groups of "n" records or blocks, a ^B02 command will
be required in order to release the first group of records or blocks.
If Command ^B52,2 (Hold "END DATA" Message) is active, and Command
^B01,n is invoked to release data in groups of "n" records or blocks, a ^B02
command will be required in order to release the "END DATA" message.
