Note:

Westin Automotive advises the installer to use a thread lubricant on all of the stainless steel

fasteners.

Please take care when assembling and installing this product to protect the finish and

your investment. To protect your investment, wax this product after installing. Regular

waxing is recommended. Do not use any type

of polish or wax that

contains abrasives

that could damage the finish.

PROCEDURE

1. Remove contents from box and verify all parts are present. Read instructions

completely before beginning.

Remove factory supplied air dam if equipped shown in Figure 1.

Note:

There is

one fastener on each side and clips across the air dam.

3. Place Large Mounting Bracket to the inside of the frame and Small Mounting

Bracket to the outside of the frame. Line up upper holes on the brackets with

holes on the frame and secure them together with the yellow zinc M12 Hex Head

Bolt, M12 Lock Washers, M12 Flat Washers, and M12 Hex Nut. Line up bottom

holes on the Brackets and secure them together with yellow zinc M10 Hex Head

Bolt, M10 Lock Washers, M10 Flat Washers, and M10 Hex Nut (Figure 2). Do

not tighten hardware at this time. Repeat this step for opposite side.

4. Locate stainless steel M10 Hex Head Bolts, M10 Lock Washers, M10 Flat Washers, and M10 Hex Nuts. Position the Grille Guard on the vehicle and place the lower portion of the Grille Guard to the outside of the Mounting Brackets as per Figure 3. Secure the Grille Guard to the Mounting Brackets with hardware listed in this step. Do not tighten hardware at this time. 5. Loosen up factory bolt located between bumper and grille shell (Figure 4).
