GROUND FAULT CIRCUIT INTERRUPTER
PROTECTION
This pressure washer has a ground-fault circuit-interrupter
(GFCI) built into the plug of thepower-supply cord. A GFCI
provides additional protection from the risk of electric
shock. If replacement of the plug or cord is necessary, use
identical replacement parts that include GFCI protection.
UNDERSTANDING THE GROUNDING PLUG
Do not modify the plug. This appliance has a grounding-
type plug which has two blades and a grounding prong.
The grounding prong is provided for your safety. The plug is
designed to t into a matching outlet. If the plug does not t
your outlet, consult a qualied electrician for replacement
of the obsolete outlet. Do not under any circumstances cut
or remove the prong.
This product must be grounded. If it should malfunction or
breakdown, grounding provides a path of least resistance
for electric current to reduce the risk of electric shock. This
product is equipped with a cord having an equipment-
grounding conductor and a grounding plug. The plug
must be plugged into an appropriate outlet that is properly
installed and grounded in accordance with all local codes
and ordinances.
DANGER – Improper connection of the equipment-
grounding conductor can result in a risk of electrocution.
Check with a qualied electrician or service personnel if you
are in doubt as to whether the outlet is properly grounded.
Do not modify the plug provided with the product – if it
will not t the outlet, have a proper outlet installed by a
qualied electrician. Do not use any type of adaptor with
this product.

Engage trigger lock when the pressure washer is not
in use.

and bleed pressures quickly. Be fully familiar with all
controls.
l Follow the maintenance instructions as specied in the
manual.
l DO NOT use your pressure washer when you are under
the inuence of alcohol or drugs. Use this power tool
carefully and only when you are alert.
l Keep operating area clear of all people, animals and
hazardous objects.
l DO NOT overreach or stand on unstable support. Keep
good footing and balance at all times.
l The pressure washer is equipped with a Ground
Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) which greatly
reduces the chance of electric shock while the
unit is in use. If replacement of the plug or cord is
needed, use only identical replacement parts.
