1. Determine if your model is a single cabinet or a two-piece cabinet.
Two-piece cabinets will be 44” and taller and will have screws already in the
bottom of one cabinet section which allows you to screw the cabinet back
together. Two-piece cabinets will have the trim around three sides only. If
you have a two-piece cabinet, screw the two sections back together before
installation. Paint or stain the cabinet and door if desired. See Image 1
2. Screw on the Back Panels being careful to go straight so that your
screws don’t come out on the inside of the cabinet. Depending on model
and finish this may already be done. See Image 2
3. Use a stud finder to locate the studs and mark them.
You’ll want your product to go between the studs whenever
possible to avoid having to cut through one.
If you do need to cut through a stud, a reciprocating saw will do the
job without damaging the wall on the opposite side.
4. Measure the back side of the cabinet and lay out the marks on the
wall at the height you desire.
