Dispersion Explained At higher frequencies, many loudspeakers start to ‘beam’ meaning there’s a very narrow angle at which the listener can hear the full frequency range. This is not such a problem in a stereo system. But for home cinema a much wider dispersion is desirable, allowing everyone in the room, to hear every speaker properly.

This demands a significant amount of power and dynamic headroom. The RS10 subwoofer is designed with plenty of power to spare. A Class AB amplifier has been specifically designed for this model.
