IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING: To reduce the risk of re, electric shock, or injury to persons when using your appliance, follow basic precautions,
including the following:
n Read all instructions before using the appliance.
n Do not wash or dry articles that have been previously
cleaned in, washed in, soaked in, or spotted with gasoline,
dry-cleaning solvents, or other ammable or explosive
substances, as they give off vapors that could ignite or
explode.
n Do not add gasoline, dry-cleaning solvents, or other
ammable or explosive substances to the wash water.
These substances give off vapors that could ignite or
explode.
n Under certain conditions, hydrogen gas may be produced
in a hot-water system that has not been used for 2 weeks
or more. HYDROGEN GAS IS EXPLOSIVE. If the hot-water
system has not been used for such a period, before using
a Washer Dryer, turn on all hot-water faucets and let the
water ow from each for several minutes. This will release
any accumulated hydrogen gas. As the gas is ammable,
do not smoke or use an open ame during this time.
n Do not allow children to play on or in the appliance. Close
supervision of children is necessary when the appliance is
used near children.
n Before the appliance is removed from service or discarded,
remove the door.
n Do not reach into the appliance if the tub is moving.
n Do not install or store this appliance where it will be
exposed to the weather.
n Do not tamper with controls.
n Do not repair or replace any part of the appliance or
attempt any servicing unless specically recommended
in the user maintenance instructions or in published user-
repair instructions that you understand and have the skills
to carry out.
n Do not use replacement parts that have not been
recommended by the manufacturer (e.g. parts made at
home using a 3D printer).
n See the Installation Instructions for grounding requirements
and installation.
n This appliance is not designed to be used by people
(including children) with physical, sensory, or mental
abilities reduced, or with lack of experience and
knowledge, unless it has been given instruction or
supervision regarding the use of the appliance.
n Do not place items exposed to cooking oils in your Washer
Dryer. Items contaminated with cooking oils may contribute
to a chemical reaction that could cause a load to catch re.
To reduce the risk of re due to contaminated loads, the
nal part of a drying cycle occurs without heat (cool down
period).
n If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer or its service agent or by qualied personnel
to avoid danger.
n The appliance must not be installed behind a lockable
door, a sliding door or a door with a hinge on the opposite
side to that of the Washer Dryer, in such a way that a full
opening of the Washer Dryer door is restricted.
n New hoses supplied with the appliance must be used, old
hoses must not be reused to avoid danger.
n Do not clean your Washer Dryer with ammable
substances or liquids.
n WARNING: Never stop the Washer Dryer before the end
of the drying cycle, unless all items are removed quickly
and spread so that the heat dissipates.
n Remove all items from pockets such as matches and
lighters.
