Gas Supply Line Gas Pressure Regulator Provide a gas supply line of 3A"(1.9 cm) rigid pipe to the cooktop location. A smaller size pipe on longer runs may result in insufficient gas supply. Pipe-joint compounds that resist the action of LP gas must be used. Do not use TEFLON ®ttape. With LP gas, piping or tubing size can be r/2" minimum. Usually, LP gas suppliers determine the size and materials used in the system.

IMPORTANT: All connections must be wrench-tightened. Do not make connections to the gas regulator too tight. Making the connections too tight may crack the regulator and cause a gas leak. Do not allow the regulator to turn on the pipe when tightening fittings. Remove surface burner heads, caps and grates from parts package. Insert tab in burner head into notch in burner base, Place burner cap on burner head.
