N C USING THE GLASS-CERAMIC HOB Radiant plates All the radiant plates are equipped with automatic thermostat; the front lh radiant plate has an adjustable thermostat. Automatic radiant plates The knobs do not have fixed positions. To switch on the radiant plates, turn the knob to position 12. Once the required temperature has been reached, turn the knob to the required setting for cooking. Observe the recommendations in the table.
N C USING THE GLASS-CERAMIC HOB RESIDUAL HEAT INDICATOR The indicator remains active as long as glass ceramic hob temperature exceeds 60oC (also after the glass ceramic hob has been switched off or after power has been restored following a mains failure). Do not touch the glass ceramic hob when the residual heat indicator is illuminated. POWER SAVING TIPS To save power, make use of the residual heat. 5 or 10 minutes before you finish cooking, set the control knob to “0” .
N C USING THE OVEN CHILD LOCK 2 B R L 1 C USE OF THE SAFETY DEVICE x x The cookers are equipped with a “Child lock” safety device. x USE: The door closes normally and is blocked by the safety device. To open the door move lever C to the R. ACTIVATION: Open the oven door and with a coin slacken screw B. Lever C moves to the L after screw B is tightened in position 1. DEACTIVATION: With the door open move lever C to the R and block it in this position by screwing screw B in position 2.
N C USING THE CONVENTIONAL OVEN ACM 376 – ACM 375 Side racks The oven has two removable side racks which allow for four different oven-loading positions. They provide support for the drip tray, baking tray and/or grid, which slide between the two guides on either side of the oven, at the same height. When you fit the tray or grid, take care to position it correctly so that it is horizontal. For the choice of the best oven position, refer to the baking and grilling tables.
N C USING THE CONVENTIONAL OVEN ACM 376 – ACM 375 Summary table Cooking functions and temperatures The following table shows cooking modes and temperatures for oven and grill cooking. Switching on and off To switch on the oven turn the cooking mode selector Q and the temperature selector P to the required positions. The cooking mode selector direction.
N C USING THE CONVENTIONAL OVEN Þ ACM 376 – ACM 375 TRADITIONAL CONVECTION COOKING Conventional cooking with heating from top and bottom. In this position the lower and upper heating elements are switched on. Heating takes place through natural convection and thermostat temperature can be set between 50oC and 250oC. This type of cooking requires oven preheating. Tip: This function is particularly suitable for desserts that must be heated from below, such as fruit pies, bread, pizzas and roasts, e.g.
N C USING THE CONVENTIONAL FAN-ASSISTED OVEN ACM 394 Upper and lower heating elements Grill Inside the oven the heating elements are located on the oven floor and ceiling. Heat is supplied by radiation. The grill is secured to the rear wall of the oven on a hinge system that allows it to be lowered to allow proper access when cleaning the oven ceiling. Fan-assisted convection system Side racks 4 3 2 1 The heat produced by the upper and lower element is distributed by the fan.

N C USING THE CONVENTIONAL FAN-ASSISTED OVEN ACM 394 X Grilling and browning function is used for perfect spit skewer type The cooking without using a spit, because the forced air circulation ensures even cooking on all sides. Preheat the oven, setting the thermostat on 200oC. Put in the meat or other food to be grilled, close the oven door and set the temperature between 50o and 200oC.
N C USING THE MULTIFUNCTION OVEN ACM 392 – ACM 398 – ACM 377 Fan convection system Grill The air is drawn in through openings on the rear panel of the oven and then heated before being returned to the oven chamber. The convection function assures uniform heat distribution in the oven and permits simultaneous cooking of food on any of the three oven levels. Temperature for convection cooking are lower than those for conventional radiant heat cooking (see “Temperature selection”).
