Theplacewhere the power cord exits the air conditioner
should be placed no more than 4 ft (122 cm) from a grounded
outlet.
Do not block the louvers in the front panel
Do not block the louvers on the outside of the air conditioner.
t. Center air conditioner in window. Check that lower rail of air
conditioner is behind and against back side of windowsill,
Lower window sash to hold cabinet in place.

2, Check that air conditioner cabinat is tilted to the outside so
that water will run to the outside. Place level on the top right-
hand side of air conditioner cabinet. There should be a tilt to
the outside of at least 1/2bubble.
3. Place level on left-hand side of air conditioner and check that
cabinet is tilted properly. Ifcabinet is not propedy positioned,
reposition or shim cabinet to provide the proper tilt.

Attach side curtains to window
1. Pull left-hand curtain out until it fits into the window channel.
Repeat with right-hand curtain.
2. Insert one of the #8 x 3/4in. slotted wood screws through left-
hand curtain and into the window channel to fasten the
curtain to the window sash.
3. Repeat for the dght-hand curtain.

Complete Instollofion
1. Place window-lock bracket on top of lower window and
against upper window sash.
2. Use a %= in. ddll bit to drill a starter hole though the hole in
the bracket.
3. Attach window-lock bracket to window sash with one of the
#8 x _'4in. slotted wood screws to secure window in place.
